Volunteer

Link Crew

IORG

Being in the ROP Health Institute has gave me the opportunity to volunteer at the Community Regional Medical Center. I attend to the hospital every Tuesdays and Thursday for approximately one hour and thirty minutes. I am stationed in the 3rd floor which is Labor and Delivery. I have had the opportunity to see the beginning of a birth I sadly cant say the same about the ending because I fainted during the woman labor. Which leaves me with fun memorize and experiences.

I was selected to be a Link Crew Leader at the end of my Junior year. I was a little surprised when they told me that I was a Link Crew Member because I didn't really see myself doing things like orientating incoming freshmen. I am happy to say that as a leader you too get to learn a lot!

IORG stands for International Order of the Rainbow for Girls what it is is an organization for girls between the ages of 11 to 20. The motto of this organization is to get girls ready for life by helping them with public spiking, community service, hosting events and many other fun and interesting things.
